Petros Ziogas

Petros Ziogas has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Petros began their career as a Perl developer at Poliekdotiki Athens in 1999. From there, they worked as a web developer at Interweb Hellas from 2000 to 2002, and then as a general manager at INW in 2002.

In 2004, Petros started their own web development company called royalblue, where they worked as the owner until 2009. During this time, they worked on various web projects for direct clients and advertising agencies, demonstrating their passion for results and excellence.

Following their entrepreneurial endeavors, Petros worked at Onyro Ltd as the CTO in 2007, where they led a team of 10 for award-winning local and international projects. Onyro Ltd merged with OgilvyOne Athens in 2008, and Petros continued working as a Senior PHP Developer until the end of the year. During their time at OgilvyOne, they developed an intranet project for a multinational bank and built the backend for an online game/contest commissioned by Lacta.

In 2009, Petros co-founded Fashinating and served as the CTO until 2012. Fashinating was an innovative search engine for fashion. Following this, Petros joined bunq in 2013 as a Lead Developer, being part of one of the top FinTech startups in Europe. bunq is a mobile-only bank in the Netherlands, and Petros felt lucky to be a part of the company during this time.

Most recently, in 2017, Petros co-founded Hosthub (formerly Syncbnb) as the Co-Founder and CTO. Hosthub.com aims to solve the problem of double booking in the hospitality industry.

Petros Ziogas attended The American College of Greece from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems.
