Darryl Wheeler is an accomplished professional in the event and destination management industry with over 20 years of experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Director of Business Development for Destination Management at Eventive Marketing Inc., Darryl leads initiatives aimed at showcasing Canada as a premier event destination. Darryl is also a Destination Partner for Canada at Hosts Global, managing key sales contacts across numerous Canadian cities. Additional roles include President of Destination Panama, Vice President for DQuest.Travel, and former Chief Operating Officer of Max West Global. Darryl’s extensive background includes managing over 2000 meetings and events for significant corporate clients and involvement with several philanthropic organizations, highlighting a strong commitment to community engagement. Darryl holds a diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Administration from Centennial College.
