Chris McKie

Chris McKie is an experienced geologist with a strong background in resource geology and project management. Currently serving as Principal Geologist at Hot Chili Ltd IR since January 2022, Chris previously held the position of Senior Resource Geologist at Northern Star Resources Limited from June 2017 to December 2021, where earlier roles included Resource and Project Geologist. Professional experience also includes serving as Project Geologist at Evolution Mining and various roles at La Mancha Resources Australia Pty Ltd, including Open Pit and Underground Mine Geologist. Chris began a career at Pike River Coal as a Graduate Geologist. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Geology from Purdue University College of Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from the University of Canterbury.
