Julie Gauthier

Julie Gauthier has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Julie started their career in the hospitality industry, working as an Assistant to the Executive Chef and hostess at Relais & Châteaux in 2008, followed by a role as an Event Coordinator and Sales Executive at Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel in 2010.

In 2011, Julie joined naked Retreats as a Senior Sales Manager, where they were responsible for developing the sales team, structuring the sales department, and reaching out to new markets. Julie also actively generated leads for corporate events and successfully achieved 100% occupancy during the pre-opening of naked Stables Private Reserve.

Moving forward, they worked with Plateno Group in 2014, serving as the Creative Brand Director and then later as the Brand and Marketing Director. During their time there, they created and launched the brand identity of Maison Albar and played a key role in setting global objectives and marketing strategies.

Julie's entrepreneurial spirit led their to co-found and become the CEO of Restaurant 1647 in 2020, a venture where they played an instrumental role in managing the business. Julie also established Linwards in 2015, a platform focused on holistic wellness activities in Shanghai, catering to an international community of health, wellness, and fitness enthusiasts.

Most recently, in 2023, Julie joined Hotel Emporium Inc as the VP of Marketing - Global, where they oversee the company's marketing strategies on a global scale.

Julie Gauthier obtained a Master's Degree & MBA in International Business - Hospitality, F&B, Tourism Management from Vatel France, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures, General at the Université Jean Moulin (Lyon III) from 2004 to 2007. Before attending university, Julie attended Taipei American School from 2000 to 2004 and earned an IB diploma. In 2015, they pursued further education in yoga and obtained a RYS 200-hour Yoga Alliance US certification from Sanda Retreats, Goa. The duration of their yoga education is not specified.
