Ravi Shankar

Ravi Shankar is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the hospitality sector, currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts since January 2020. Prior to this role, Ravi held the position of Senior Vice President Finance at MH Lifestyle Hotels LLC from April 2019 to January 2020, where the focus was on maximizing shareholder benefits within the lifestyle hotel segment. Ravi has also been the CFO for Abjar Hotels International LLC, overseeing a diverse portfolio of hotel brands. Ravi's earlier career at Marriott International included various roles such as Regional Director Openings for Asia Pacific and Area Director of Finance, culminating in over a decade of increasing responsibilities. Ravi’s foundational experience includes management positions at Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts and RSM & Co. Ravi holds a Chartered Accountant designation from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Bachelor of Laws from Manav Bharti University.
