Ryan Underwood

General Manager at Hotel Tango Distillery

Ryan Underwood has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Ryan began their career as the Director of Catering at Spectrum Catering, Concessions and Special Events in 2005, where they served for ten years. In 2015, Ryan joined Jonathan Byrd's Restaurant & Hospitality Group as an Operations Manager, eventually transitioning to the role of Assistant General Manager. From 2019 to 2020, they also served as the Business Development Manager for JB's on the go, before becoming the Business Development Manager for Jonathan Byrd's Restaurant & Hospitality Group. Currently, Ryan is the General Manager at Hotel Tango Distillery, starting in March 2022.

Ryan Underwood attended the University of Iowa from 1994 to 1996, where they studied Accounting and Finance. Ryan did not obtain a degree during this time. In addition, Ryan obtained a certification in ServSafe from the National Restaurant Association in January 2016.
