Vanessa Caramalau Cristescu has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2011 with a Media Intern role at the Refugee Education Trust. Vanessa then became a Communications/Media Intern at Groupe Esprit de Corps Inc. in 2012, and also held a VP Communications role at McGill University. In the same year, they were a Public Relations Representative, Social Media Executive & Sales Executive for Formula One for Grand Prix in Montreal. In 2013, they began working as a Personal & Executive Assistant to the CEO at a Private Fashion Showroom, and also started freelancing as a Creative/Consultant. In 2014, they were an E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Manager and Global Event & Marketing Coordinator at Assouline, LVMH Group. In 2015, they worked as a Digital Marketing Manager at Raising The Bar. In 2016, they were a UX Design at General Assembly, and also became the Chief Marketing Officer and Lead UX Designer at Hotels By Day.
Vanessa Caramalau Cristescu has an education history that spans from 1995 to present. Vanessa attended Lycee Francais de Chicago from 1995 to 2009 and obtained a Literary Baccalaureate (with International Option - OIB). In 2006, they attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago for Fashion Illustration. In 2007 and 2008, they attended Enforex School of Barcelona. Vanessa is currently attending McGill University, where they are pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Foreign Languages and Literatures, Film Studies and International Development Studies. Additionally, they obtained a CPR & First Aid Certification in July 2015.
