Koen Strubbe

Koen Strubbe has extensive experience in the food industry, currently serving in product development and recipe writing at 2 KOOK since 2009, which involves supporting the food sector. Additionally, Koen has been a practical teacher at Hotelschool Ter Groene Poorte since 1999. Previous experience includes a role as Chef-cook at Hotel Academie from 1991 to 1996, where Koen earned notable accolades such as the Charles Vanhove Prize and the Vlamprijs. Koen was recognized as the best large kitchen cook in Belgium in 1999 and achieved first place in the dessert BBQ category at the Belgian championship in 2009, along with being the vice champion in BBQ that same year. Furthermore, Koen completed training as a product developer in 2016.
