Dr. Stephan Hegge

Dr. Stephan Hegge has a diverse work experience that spans several companies and academic institutions. Dr. Stephan most recently worked at HotSpot Therapeutics, Inc. from January 2017 to the present, holding various roles such as Vice President of Corporate Strategy, Senior Director of Corporate Strategy, Director of Corporate Strategy, and Head of Strategy and BD&L. Prior to that, they worked at Catenion from May 2016 to April 2017 as a Manager, from June 2013 to April 2016 as an Associate, and from August 2011 to May 2013 as an Analyst. Dr. Stephan also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Heidelberg University from December 2010 to July 2011, as an Advisor for microscopy and big data analysis at The University of Glasgow in November 2010, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Ehime University from April 2010 to October 2010. Dr. Hegge began their career at Heidelberg University in October 2005 as a PHD Student and later as a Postdoctoral Researcher from December 2009 to April 2010.

Dr. Stephan Hegge has a diverse and extensive education history. In 1999, they began their studies at Hanover Medical School and the University of Hanover, where they pursued a Diplom in Biochemistry and Biophysical Chemistry. During their time there, they also became an authorized officer for radiation protection in Strsch+FKG+S4.2. In 2003, they had the opportunity to participate in a Laboratory Rotation at the University of Canterbury, focusing on Biochemistry. In the same year, they enrolled in a State-Approved Course at Hanover Medical School, acquiring the title of Approved Biosafety Officer in "Gene Technology Security." In 2006, Dr. Hegge attended Heidelberg University and received approval in "Laboratory Animal Science and Methods of Animal Experimentation." Overall, their educational background showcases a specialization in various aspects of biology and laboratory sciences.
