Akeem Guerin

Akeem Guerin has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Akeem started their career in 2007 as a Manager/Barber at Hall of Fame Barbershop, where they successfully managed day-to-day operations, implemented efficient business practices, and grew the customer base through effective marketing strategies. After three years, they transitioned into the telecommunications field, working as a Wireless Field Engineer at Mastec. In this role, they managed the integration and installation of Nokia GSM and Ericsson cabinets, conducted testing and commissioning of power plant systems, and handled UMTS Ericsson cabinet installations. Akeem then joined Datastream as a Wireless Technician in 2011, where they gained expertise in wireless technology. In 2015, they joined MasTec Network Solutions-SPG as an Engineering Team Lead. In this position, Akeem led teams in installations, integrations, and support, excelling in the cutover of power plants and battery delivery. Akeem also handled closeout procedures, customer service, and troubleshooting of AT&T software/hardware. After two years, Akeem moved to Hotwire Communications Ltd in 2017 and held various roles, including Operations, HBS, Regional Operations Project Manager, and currently, Technical Launch Account Manager. Throughout their career, Akeem has demonstrated strong technical skills, effective project management, and a focus on delivering high-quality results.

Akeem Guerin obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. Akeem attended the university from 2002 to 2007. In addition to their degree, Akeem obtained certifications in VMware vSphere 6.7 Foundations from VMware in April 2020, and in Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) from Cisco in December 2019.
