Andy Barker

Andy Barker serves as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Houchens Insurance Group, where responsibilities include driving revenue growth and profitability for one of the largest privately held insurance agencies in the country. In addition, Andy is a Partner and Owner of D1 Bowling Green and previously held the position of Executive Vice President at Van Meter Insurance from 2003 to June 2017, gaining valuable experience in a role that aligned with personal interests. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Sales at Cingular Wireless, overseeing sales and operations for the Middle Tennessee Area and managing over 200 employees. Andy Barker earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Western Kentucky University from 1987 to 1990.
