Jonathan Bautista

Jonathan Bautista has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in blood banking and laboratory operations. Jonathan currently holds the position of CEO/COO at Houchin Community Blood Bank. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Director of San Jose Mothers' Milk Bank from August 2019 to December 2022. Before that, they worked as the Sr. Operations Director (COO) at Stanford Blood Center from November 2012 to August 2019. Jonathan also has a background in marketing and operations, having held the position of VP of Laboratory Marketing & Operations at The Blood Center from January 2011 to November 2012. Earlier in their career, they were the Sales Director at LABS-Inc from May 2008 to December 2010 and the Director of Hospital Relations at Bonfils Blood Center from May 2001 to May 2008. Jonathan began their career as a Supervisor at Lab One, currently known as Quest Laboratories, where they worked from 1987 to 1997.

Jonathan Bautista began their education in 1982 at Baker University, where they pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Jonathan spent four years completing their undergraduate studies, graduating in 1986. In the following year, from 1986 to 1987, Jonathan attended The University of Kansas, where they focused on Medical Technology and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in MT (ASCP).
