Alan Hayes

Alan Hayes is an experienced software engineer with a background in full stack development and UI design. Currently serving as a Senior Full Stack Node.js Engineer at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt since July 2013, Alan specializes in building a Node.js API layer and a distributed Graph database layer. Prior to this role, Alan co-founded EasyDocs, focusing on Java and UI development from January 2013 to January 2015. Alan also gained extensive experience as a Software Developer at WeDo Technologies, where responsibilities included developing enterprise application front-ends. Additional experience includes positions as Implementation Engineer at WeDo/CAPE Technologies and Consultant at Tata Consultancy Services. Alan holds a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from Dublin City University, completed in 2004.
