Darleny Gil

Darleny Gil is an accomplished professional with over 25 years of experience in education and operations management. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Services Operations at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt since June 2015, Darleny previously held the position of Director of Services Operations. Prior to this role, Darleny worked at Scholastic from June 2005 to June 2015 as both Scheduling & Logistics Manager and Educational Consultant. Darleny began a career in education as a Special Education and ESOL Teacher at Miami-Dade County Public Schools from August 1998 to June 2005 and also served as an Adjunct Professor at Miami Dade College in 2004. Academically, Darleny holds a Master's of Science in Education with a focus on Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language from the University of Miami, where a Bachelor's of Science in Special Education and Psychology was also earned.
