Jason Anderson has extensive experience in educational leadership and curriculum development, currently serving as Vice President of Pre-Sales Solutions at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt since March 2014. Simultaneously, Jason holds the position of Executive Director of Curriculum, Instruction, Assessment and Innovation K-12 at Frederick County Public Schools, where a significant turnaround in Monocacy Elementary School was achieved, noted for double-digit improvements in SPED, ELL, and African American student populations. Additionally, Jason co-founded Make It Happen, LLC, a nonprofit focused on the mental and physical well-being of children. Jason's commitment to education is further demonstrated through adjunct professorships at both Hood College and Mount St. Mary's University, as well as previous leadership roles including Principal at New Market Elementary, recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School. Academic credentials include an M.S. in Leadership and Supervision from Hood College and a B.S. in Education from Salisbury University.
