Tamorra A. Boyd

Tamorra A. Boyd, MBA, JD, is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Assistant General Counsel and Senior Legal Counsel at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt since April 2023, following a transition from NWEA due to an acquisition. Boyd previously held the position of Senior Counsel at NWEA from July 2021 to May 2023. Prior to NWEA, Boyd was the Managing Attorney at Boyd Legal Counsel, LLC from May 2015 to December 2022 and worked as a Commercial Contracts Attorney at LexisNexis Risk Solutions from November 2019 to June 2021. Earlier experience includes serving as an Associate at McKesson and performing various marketing and HR roles at Draeger. Boyd earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Mercer University and holds both an MBA in Management and Marketing and a B.S. in Business Administration/Management from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
