Hussain Abbas

Hussain Abbas is a Senior Analyst in the Portfolio Valuations group at Houlihan Lokey since July 2023, with extensive experience in third-party valuations for private equity firms across various asset classes including private credit, commercial real estate, oil and gas, GP stakes, healthcare, and growth equity. Prior to Houlihan Lokey, Hussain worked as an Analyst in Corporate Finance at Arcapita from August 2020 to July 2022, where responsibilities included executing LP equity raises for multiple transactions and conducting detailed industry research. Hussain's experience also encompasses a role as a Research Analyst at baraka, where over 40 articles were produced on public equity market developments, and a Summer Analyst position at Bank ABC focused on industry analysis. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Rochester and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the London School of Economics.
