Patrick Schoennagel began their work experience in 2004 as an intern at the U.S. Department of State. In this role, they focused on providing guidance and business advocacy to US businesses operating abroad. From 2005 to 2015, Patrick worked at GE Capital, starting as an Analyst in the Financial Management Program and later progressing to roles such as Associate, Assistant Vice President, and Senior Vice President. During their time at GE Capital, they gained experience in restructuring finance, relationship management, and sourcing and underwriting credit facilities. Since 2015, Patrick has been working at Houlihan Lokey, initially as Managing Director in Debt Capital Markets and currently as Managing Director and Head of Sponsor Finance in the European Debt Capital Markets team. In their current role, they advise sponsors and corporate clients on their debt financing needs, specializing in sourcing, structuring, and optimizing financing transactions.
