Samrat Karnik

Samrat Karnik has extensive experience in the finance industry, specifically in corporate finance and advisory roles. Samrat is currently a Managing Director at Houlihan Lokey, where they lead the Industrial Technology Team. Prior to this, Samrat served as a Board Advisor at Sharper Shape Group and as a Board Member at Aqua Membranes, Inc. Samrat also held the position of Managing Director and Co-Head of Industrial Technologies at Capstone Headwaters, where they provided independent advice to industrial, environmental, and energy technology companies on various corporate finance initiatives. Earlier in their career, Samrat worked as a Vice President at Duff & Phelps and held various roles at Houlihan Lokey, including Vice President and Associate. Samrat started their career as an Analyst at Berenson & Company.

Samrat Karnik attended NYU Stern School of Business from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Finance, Economics, and German. Additionally, they hold certifications in Series 7 and 63 from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
