Camilo Marroquín is the Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer at Houm. Camilo was previously the Director de operaciones Global at Rappi from October 2017 to June 2020. In this role, they were responsible for the business part of the profitability, viability, and optimal functioning of the Rappi payment operation in the CPG and restaurant verticals in LatAm, CeAm, and North LatAm (Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Peru, Costa Rica, and Ecuador).

Camilo led the digital transformation and optimization of the payments area, expenditure control, and fraud prevention for Rappi shoppers in Latam. Camilo also led the design and implementation of the MS invoice project for Rappitenders and Rappi shoppers in Latam. Additionally, they were responsible for the implementation of Novopayment for Rappi (Query balances, disbursements, reversals, etc. APIs).

Camilo also standardized, centralized, and automated payment processes for shoppers in Rappi Latam. Camilo also standardized service levels for PQR resolution by disbursements to Rappi Latam shoppers. Camilo was part of the expansion team of operations and processes in Rappi Latam and CeAm. Additionally, they led the Payless model and design for market allies at the Latam level with the RappiPay payment method. Lastly, they were the Product Owner of the CPG integration model.

Camilo Marroquín reports to Benjamín Labra, Co-Founder & CEO. They work with Marijn Vriens - VP of Engineering, Nicolas Knockaert - Co-Founder & COO, and Roberto Caroca - Chief Product Officer.
