Marijn Vriens

Marijn Vriens has over 10 years of experience in technology and management. Marijn is currently the VP of Engineering at Houm, a position they have held since November 2015. Prior to that, they were the Chief Technology Officer at Dreamlab Technologies from February 2012 to November 2015. There, they oversaw the technological approach of all end-customer online projects, both new and in production.

Before their time at Dreamlab Technologies, Marijn Vriens was the Technical Project Lead at WEKA Uitgeverij B.V from November 2009 to February 2012. In this role, they created the functional requirements for the development to support new online products and business models in the publishing company. Marijn was successful in reducing development costs for the company by using clear and precise specifications to reduce uncertainty among external developers.

Marijn Vriens is a skilled technology leader with a proven track record of reducing costs and increasing efficiency in both new and existing projects. Marijn is an excellent communicator and excels at managing budgets and resources.

Marijn Vriens has a background in both engineering and information sciences. Marijn studied information technology administration and management at Universidad Diego Portales, and later went on to study information sciences at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. Finally, they studied technische informatica at ROC ASA.

Their manager is Benjamín Labra, Co-Founder & CEO. They work with Nicolas Knockaert - Co-Founder & COO, Roberto Caroca - Chief Product Officer, and Camilo Marroquín - Co-Founder & Chief Strategy Officer.
