Cindy Trice

Cindy Trice has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Cindy is currently serving as the Chief Veterinary Officer at Hound since July 2023. In 2019, they co-founded KickIt Pajamas, where they hold the position of Co-Founder & Chief Innovation Officer. At KickIt Pajamas, they design and manufactures unique and functional clothing for women undergoing treatment or living with chronic conditions. Prior to this, they founded ReliefRover in 2017 and worked as a Relief Veterinarian since 2007 in a self-employed capacity. Cindy also served as an Associate Veterinarian at Desoto Animal Clinic from 2013 to 2016. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Veterinarian at BluePearl Veterinary Partners and as a Veterinary Assistant and Receptionist at San Francisco Pet Hospital. Before transitioning into the veterinary field, they gained experience in the film and video production industry, working as a Freelance Production Assistant, Associate Producer, and Second Assistant Director from 1992 to 1998. Cindy also served as an Associate Producer at Robert Chang Productions from 1992 to 1996.

Cindy Trice completed the LEAD Certificate Program in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies and Leadership at Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 2022 to 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the University of California, Davis, from 2000 to 2004. Their Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Media Studies was earned at Cornell University from 1988 to 1991.

In addition to their formal education, Cindy also holds several certifications. Cindy received a Graphic Design certification from Coursera in September 2017, along with a Business Writing certification from the same institution in August 2017. In November 2015, they completed a Dog Emotion and Cognition certification and an Epidemiology course called "Epidemics - the Dynamics of Infectious Diseases," both from Coursera Verified Certificates. Furthermore, Cindy obtained an edX Verified Certificate for "The Biology of Water and Health - Part 1" from edX in August 2015.
