Kate Walsh

Kate Walsh has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Kate began their career at Primedia in 1989 as the Managing Editor of Soap Opera Weekly, where they oversaw traffic flow and assigned duties to editors and freelance writers. Kate then moved on to Miramax in 2005 as a Copy Editor before joining Bauer Publishing as the Online Manager of In Touch Weekly, where they updated the magazine's website and managed the online staff. Kate also served as the Editorial Manager of In Touch Weekly, responsible for the day-to-day management of the magazine.

In 2005, Walsh became an Editor-at-Large at Bauer Publishing, where they packaged the news section for CBS Soaps in Depth and ABC Soaps in Depth magazines.

From 2013 to 2021, they worked at Today Media, first as the Managing Editor of Westchester Magazine and its ancillary publications, then as the Senior Editor of Westchester Magazine and Hudson Valley Magazine, overseeing story development, writing, editing, and publishing. In 2022, they assumed the position of Editor-in-Chief for Hour Detroit.
