Hour One
Oded Granot has been working in the visual effects industry since 2005. Oded is the owner of Oded Granot VFX, providing high-end visual effects and consulting for feature films, VR, commercials, music videos, web content and games. In 2019, they became the Head of Visual Effects at Hour One AI. Oded also held Senior Compositor roles at CoSA VFX, Zoic Studios, and Sony Pictures Imageworks. In 2017, they were an Advanced Compositing Instructor at Frame by Frame animation. In 2022, they began a role as a Guest Lecturer at Tel Aviv University's Tisch School for Arts, where they lectured on the business of visual effects, virtual production, and 3D and 2D pipelines.
Oded Granot has a diverse educational background. Oded began their studies in 1993 at The Hebrew Reali School, where they studied Computer Science. Oded then attended Tel Aviv University from 2005 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts - BFA in Film. In 2007, they attended JCS Post-Production School, where they earned a Diploma in Compositing and Visual Effects. Finally, in 2009-2010, they attended Vancouver Film School, where they earned a Diploma in 3D Animation and Visual Effects.
