Chad Shoemaker

Chad Shoemaker has a diverse work experience in various industries. Chad started their career in 2001 as a Sales Consultant at Unum, where they worked until 2004. From 2004 to 2007, they worked as a Senior Sales Consultant at UnitedHealth Group. In 2007, they joined Univers Workplace Benefits as a Senior Lead Consultant until 2008.

In 2009, Chad transitioned to the automotive industry and joined Hourglass Management Corporation (HMC) as the VP of Business Development. Chad was later promoted to President in 2011, and finally became the CEO of the company in 2017. HMC is an industry leader providing strategic consultation and best practices in the automotive remarketing, financing, and fleet management industries. Chad played a significant role in creating strategic alliances and developing innovative products.

At the same time, in 2009, Chad also became involved with Flexco Fleet Services, initially as the VP of Business Development. Chad was later promoted to President in 2011 and became the CEO in 2017. Flexco specializes in remarketing vehicles and offers various services to maximize resale value and help companies eliminate over-payment of state sales tax on new vehicles. Chad was responsible for managing a robust driver and employee sales program, generating incremental revenue, and creating benefits for budget-conscious employees and their families.

In 2011, Chad also took on a role at Tresl™ as the Managing Director. Tresl is part of Innovative Funding Services, a finance organization working with major companies and banks to provide consumers with streamlined vehicle loan processes. Chad played a key role in providing financing options and additional coverage to consumers.

Additionally, Chad has also contributed to the community as the Co-Chair of the Board of Directors at the Young Philanthropists Foundation from 2014 to 2016. The foundation engages youth in philanthropy and creates opportunities for them to give back to their community.

Chad Shoemaker attended Worthington Kilbourne High School from 1993 to 1997, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. Following their high school education, Chad went on to attend Miami University from 1997 to 2001. At Miami University, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, with a focus on Marketing and Management Information Systems.
