Yasir Naqvi

Yasir Naqvi is a prominent Canadian politician currently serving as the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Health and as the Member of Parliament for Ottawa Centre, positions held since September 2021. Naqvi has an extensive background in governance, having served in various roles such as the Parliamentary Secretary to the President of the King’s Privy Council and Minister of Emergency Preparedness. Prior experience includes serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the Institute for Canadian Citizenship and holding multiple ministerial positions within the Ontario government, including Attorney General and Minister of Community Safety and Correctional Services.
