Arun Jayachandran

Arun Jayachandran is a skilled data professional with extensive experience in business intelligence, data analysis, and machine learning. Currently serving as the Lead Business Intelligence Developer at House of Travel since September 2022, Arun previously held roles as a Performance and Reporting Analyst and Analyst at the Ministry of Social Development, where expertise in SAS, dashboard/report design, and data management was demonstrated. Arun's early career included a position as a Graduate Analyst at Stats NZ focused on Covid-19 economic indicators, a Data Science Intern at Splunk working on machine learning applications, and research roles in material science at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and the Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre in India. Arun holds a Master's degree in Applied Data Science from the University of Canterbury and a Bachelor of Technology in Metallurgical Engineering.
