Housing Action Illinois
Jennifer Pallas has an extensive background in housing and financial services, with a career spanning over a decade. At Housing Action Illinois since April 2015, Jennifer currently focuses on compliance. Prior to this role, Jennifer served as the Director of Housing Counseling and Vice President of Financial Services at North Side Community Federal Credit Union from July 2009 until March 2015. Jennifer's experience also includes working as a Housing Counselor at Oak Park Regional Housing Center from August 2007 to July 2009 and as an AmeriCorps VISTA at United Cerebral Palsy from December 2004 to December 2006. Jennifer holds a Master of Public Policy & Administration (MPPA) from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology with a minor in Theology from the University of St. Thomas (TX).

Housing Action Illinois is a statewide coalition working to make sure everyone in Illinois has a safe, affordable place to call home. Our members include housing counseling agencies, homeless service providers, developers of affordable housing and policymakers. These organizations serve low- and moderate-income households, helping to provide a place to call home, thereby strengthening the community at large.
