Linda Mason

Linda Mason serves as the General Counsel and Chief People Officer for the Housing Authority of the City and County of San Francisco since June 2010, focusing on legal, operational, and human resource matters to enhance community engagement and staff development. Previously, Linda held positions as Supervising Attorney in the Office of Government Affairs and Policy, overseeing legal matters and implementing policy initiatives for 15,000 households, as well as Ombudsman, where key community relationships were established to support residents. Linda also contributed to public service as Vice Mayor and City Councilwoman of San Bruno from December 2019 to December 2022, prioritizing policies and initiatives that benefit low-income residents and seniors. Linda earned a Doctor of Law from San Francisco Law School, and Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Government from San Francisco State University, and in Spanish from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain.
