Francisco Garcia

Francisco Garcia has a diverse work experience, starting in 2008 as a Financial Sales Associate at BBVA. Francisco then transitioned to the Galveston Housing Authority in 2008, where they served as a Section 8 Program Supervisor until 2012. Following that, they joined Austin Habitat for Humanity as a HomeBase Program Administrator, handling various responsibilities related to homebuyer qualifications, sales, and closing processes. Housing Authority of the City of Austin

As a High Performing Housing Authority that assists more than 18,000 Austinites, the Housing Authority of the City of Austin (HACA) owns and operates nearly 1,900 units of conventional public housing in 18 developments throughout Austin. Development sites range from high-rise apartments on Lady Bird Lake to small duplexes in residential neighborhoods. HACA also manages the Housing Choice Voucher/Section 8 Program that provides rental vouchers for more than 5,000 units of housing in Austin's private rental market.
