Eligibility and Housing

The Eligibility and Housing team at the Housing Authority of the City of Austin (HACA) is responsible for determining and verifying the eligibility of applicants for public housing and the Housing Choice Voucher/Section 8 Program. Team members, including FSS Coordinators and various levels of Housing and Eligibility Specialists, work to ensure that applicants meet the necessary criteria and assist them through the application process to secure stable and affordable housing within Austin.
