Marichelle Alcantara has extensive experience in program management and community service, currently serving as the Director of Programs at the Housing Consortium of the East Bay since November 2013, where prior roles included Program Manager and Site Supervisor. Between 2017 and 2019, Marichelle served as a Housing Advisory Board Commissioner for the City of Richmond, California. Additionally, experience as an English Teacher at Telelangue from 2007 to 2015 reflects a commitment to education. Marichelle holds a Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Contra Costa College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from AMA University.

HCEB’s mission is to create inclusive communities for individuals with developmental disabilities or other special needs through quality affordable housing in Alameda and Contra Costa County. HCEB fulfills our mission by providing programs and services for the unhoused; resident service coordination; developing and operating supportive housing and partnering with other developers to secure set-asides within larger rental communities.
