Minuk Nam

Minuk Nam has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Minuk started their career as an Assistant Administrator at Korea-China Thinknet, where they organized international conferences and managed a database of foreign affairs related to East Asia. Minuk then worked as an Assistant Project Coordinator for the Joint Research Project for a New Era for Korea-Japan Relations, where they liaised between Korea-Japan executive offices, conducted research, and oversaw the publication process of the final report.

Later, Minuk joined the Science and Technology Policy Institute as a Junior Researcher, where they developed action plans for government branches, conducted political research and qualitative analysis on policy issues, and contributed to international science and technology cooperation projects.

Minuk then pursued their passion for history and teaching by working as a Researcher and Lecturer at Leiden University. Minuk conducted research for a European Research Council-funded project and taught a course on Historical Reconciliation in East Asia, utilizing unconventional teaching methods and facilitating discussions among students.

In their next role as a Business Administration Assistant at Macrogen Europe, Minuk managed a complex office and laboratory relocation project, handled accounts receivable, and worked on HR administration and analytics.

Currently, Minuk is working at HousingAnywhere, initially starting as a Junior HR Generalist and progressing to HR Generalist and HR Team Lead roles. Their accomplishments at HousingAnywhere include supporting the organization's rapid growth through successful onboarding and relocation processes, implementing HR metrics, and improving employee satisfaction.

Throughout their career, Minuk has demonstrated skills in project management, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, time management, international and interpersonal communication, and qualitative analysis. Minuk is proficient in MS Office and Excel advanced formulas and functions.
