Casey Watts Morgan, MPP, currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Houston Apartment Association since December 2020. Previously, Morgan held the position of Chief Executive Officer and Vice President & Director of Government Affairs at the Greater Houston Builders Association from October 2012 to December 2020, overseeing advocacy efforts for a 1,600-member association across 11 counties. Additional experience includes roles as Director of Government Relations at Van Scoyoc Associates, Policy Assistant to the Secretary at the United States Department of Transportation, and Associate Director of Government Affairs within the same department. Early career highlights include working at the George W. Bush White House and serving U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison. Morgan holds a Master of Public Policy from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Political Science from Baylor University.
