Genesis Valdez

Genesis Valdez currently serves as a Victim Assistance Coordinator at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office since March 2024. Valdez also holds the position of Vice President Of Membership for DELTA XI NU Multicultural Sorority Inc. from January 2022 to the present. Prior experience includes roles as a Bilingual Residential Case Manager at the Houston Area Women's Center and Family Support Coordinator at the YMCA of Greater Houston. Additional positions held include CPS Alt Response Specialist at the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and Teacher Assistant at Silver Star Academy, LLC. Early career experiences include working as a Cook/Prep at Pizza Hut and a Student Worker in the Athletics Department at Sam Houston State University. Genesis Valdez earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University, graduating in 2020.
