Valeria Vallejo

Valeria Vallejo MSW is an experienced social work professional with a diverse background in employment services and case management. Currently serving as a Senior Employment Specialist at Wesley Community Center since December 2021, Valeria also holds a role at the Houston Area Women's Center as a Hospital Accompaniment specialist. Previous experience includes positions as a Program Assistant and Recreation Specialist at Avenue 360 Health and Wellness, and as a Clinical Case Manager at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, where Valeria conducted Spanish intakes and counseling for immigrant children. Valeria has also worked in various capacities within the educational sector, including as a Foster Home Developer and as an intern with Communities In Schools of Central Texas. Valeria holds a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Houston and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin, in addition to a degree in Corporate Communications from Moody College of Communication.
