Bill Matthews

Bill Matthews has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving on the Board of Directors for Houston Audubon since July 2020 while also consulting for oil companies and oilfield services firms since 2016. Prior roles include Vice President of Technical Sales & Services at Drillinginfo, Technical Manager for Unconventional Reservoirs at Schlumberger, and North America Manager for Integrated Services at WesternGeco. Bill has demonstrated expertise in project management, technical consulting, and market strategy across various companies, including Halliburton and Landmark Graphics, contributing to significant advancements in unconventional resources and oil exploration. Education credentials include a Master’s degree in Geology & Geophysics from Rice University and a BS cum laude in Geology from Emory University, along with executive education from Harvard Business School and the University of Michigan.
