Michael Lavin

Michael Lavin is a seasoned professional in costume management and wardrobe supervision, currently serving as the Costume Shop Manager at Houston Ballet since February 2022. Prior to this role, Lavin held the position of Head of Men's Wardrobe at San Francisco Ballet from September 2021 to January 2023. Experience also includes serving as Wardrobe Supervisor at various organizations, including Williamstown Theatre Festival, Riverdance - Abhann Productions Limited, Kinky Boots The Musical, and Feld Entertainment. Additional roles encompass Company Manager and Crew Chief at VStar Entertainment Group. Lavin began a career in the industry as Wardrobe Supervisor with University of Delaware Rep and as Blue Man Group National Tour Wardrobe Head with NETworks Presentations. Education was pursued at the University at Buffalo, focusing on Theater Design.
