Victor Oderinde

Chief Medical Director at Houston Behavioral Healthcare Hospital

Victor Oderinde has extensive work experience in the field of psychiatry, with a focus on adolescent inpatient services. Victor started their career as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston) in 2002. From 2006 to 2022, Victor Oderinde served as the Medical Director for Adolescent Inpatient Services at Intracare North Hospital and Texas West Oaks Hospital. In 2013, they joined Houston Behavioral Healthcare Hospital as the Chief Medical Director, and in 2017, they also took on the role of Medical Director for Adolescent Inpatient Services. In 2022, they became the Chief Medical Director at Cypress Creek Hospital.

Victor Oderinde completed their education with a MB ChB degree in Medicine from Obafemi Awolowo University in 1988. Victor then pursued a Psychiatry Residency Program at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston) from 1997 to 2000. Following this, they completed a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Residency Program at the same institution from 2000 to 2002.
