Kurt Ewen

Kurt Ewen is currently the VC Strategic, Planning and Institutional Effectiveness & Chief of Staff at Houston Community College. Prior to this, they were the Presidential Fellow at Valencia College from January 2001 to February 2017. Kurt Ewen has dedicated their career to higher education and improving the lives of students. Kurt is a respected leader in the field and their work has had a positive impact on countless students.

Kurt Ewen earned their Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership and Education from Barry University. Kurt also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from St. Meinrad College, an STB and MA from KU Leuven in Theology/Theological Studies, and an STL from the same school. Kurt also has an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Valencia College.
