David Obert

David Obert is a seasoned audio and broadcasting professional with extensive experience in production, engineering, and media. Currently serving as a Production and Programming Assistant at iHeartMedia since June 2022, Obert also works as a Radio and Streaming Engineer for the Houston Dynamo Football Club since March 2021. In addition to these roles, Obert has been a Radio Engineer for LEARFIELD since September 2009, where responsibilities include engineering football and basketball broadcasts. As the owner and engineer at Mindwurx since April 2000, Obert has combined technical skills with entrepreneurial efforts. Obert's early career included positions at iHeartMedia and KGOL Radio 1180am as well as at KLOL 101FM and Swank Motion Pictures, Inc. Obert holds an Associate of Science degree in Recording Arts Technology from San Jacinto College and an Associate of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies from Alvin Community College.
