Vanessa Scott

Vanessa Scott has had a diverse work experience in the sports industry. Vanessa started their career as a Ticket Operations Representative at the Houston Rockets in September 2012 and worked in that role until June 2015. During this time, they also took on the role of Staff Accountant. In June 2015, they joined the Houston Dynamo Football Club as a Staff Accountant and worked in that position until December 2015. Vanessa then advanced to the role of Senior Accountant from January 2016 to June 2016, followed by Accounting Manager from June 2016 to June 2017. From June 2017 to December 2021, Vanessa served as the Director of Accounting at the Houston Dynamo Football Club. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Finance starting from January 2022.

Vanessa Scott obtained their Master of Finance and Bachelor of Science in Management (BSM) with a focus on Finance from Tulane University's A.B. Freeman School of Business. Vanessa completed this program from 2005 to 2010. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University, which they started in 2018 and is expected to finish in 2023. Additionally, in June 2022, they obtained a certificate in Inclusive Leadership from RISE.
