Kelby Laxdal

Kelby Laxdal is a seasoned civil engineer with over 15 years of experience in the field. Currently serving as Principal Civil Engineer at Houston Engineering, Inc. since July 2018, Kelby specializes in construction observation and management, transportation planning, stormwater management, pavement management, and municipal solid waste landfill groundwater monitoring. Prior to this role, Kelby held the position of Civil Engineer III at CPS, Ltd. from July 2009 to July 2018, also focusing on the same areas of expertise. Kelby began the career as a Lab Technician at Midwest Testing Laboratory in 2008, where responsibilities included aggregate gradations/testing and concrete testing. Kelby obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from North Dakota State University between 2006 and 2009.
