Megan Henson

Megan Henson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Megan started their career at The Aletheia Literary & Arts Journal, where they served as the Editor and Marketing Director, responsible for managing a publication budget, organizing reading series, and coordinating marketing materials. Megan then worked at the Center for Creative Work as a Creative Coordinator, where they implemented successful book auctions to benefit charitable organizations. Megan later joined Deal Sikes & Associates, first as an Executive Assistant and then as a Market Research Coordinator & ROW Professional, gaining experience in market research and project coordination. Megan then moved on to the Greater Houston Partnership, where they held various roles including Campaign Coordinator, Manager of Membership and Campaign, Senior Manager of Campaign & Business Analytics, and Director of Campaigns & Business Analytics. Currently, Megan is the Director of Business Intelligence & Research at Houston First Corporation.

Megan Henson obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing with a concentration in Poetry from the University of Houston from 2008 to 2012. Later, they pursued a professional certification in Right-of-Way from the University of Houston-Downtown in 2016-2017. Currently, Megan is attending Rice University's Susanne M. Glasscock School of Continuing Studies to study Data Analytics & Visualization, but their start and end years are not available.
