Christopher Staub

Christopher Staub is an experienced theatre professional currently serving as the Director of Operations and Institutional Projects at Houston Grand Opera since September 2021, previously holding the title of Operations Manager. Prior to this role, Christopher was the Director of Production & Artistic Operations at On Site Opera from September 2019 to September 2021, where responsibilities included managing production logistics for site-specific opera in New York City. Christopher has a notable background at Houston Grand Opera from 2008 to 2019, where stage management highlights included the world premiere of Heggie and Scheer's It's A Wonderful Life and the entirety of Wagner's Ring Cycle. Additionally, Christopher served as Production Stage Manager at The Glimmerglass Festival from 2005 to 2019, overseeing stage management operations and leading a team of stage managers and interns. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama and Speech Communication from Ithaca College.
