Oybek Mamataliyev has a strong background in coaching gymnastics and trampoline. Oybek started their career in 2000 at Lightning gymnastics club in Canada, where they worked as a high performance trampoline coach until 2001. Oybek then moved to Olympia gymnastics club in New Zealand, where they held the same role from 2006 to 2009. After that, they joined the Qatar Olympic Committee, where they worked as a high performance national trampoline coach from 2009 to 2015. Currently, they are the T&T head coach at Houston Gymnastics Academy since 2015. Throughout their career, Mamataliyev has been responsible for planning, developing, and implementing training programs, nurturing and developing the skills and abilities of students, and coordinating competitive schedules for national and international programs.
Oybek Mamataliyev completed their Bachelor's degree in Gymnastics and Trampoline coaching, as well as teaching, from the Uzbek State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport. Oybek attended this institute from 1992 to 1998. Prior to that, they studied at the 43 school in Andijan, Uzbekistan, from 1982 to 1992, but the specific degree and field of study are not provided.
