David M. Soto is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in volunteer engagement and nonprofit management. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Volunteer Engagement at Houston Habitat for Humanity, Inc. since August 2018, David has held multiple roles including Community Engagement and Veterans Build Manager, Individual Giving and Veterans Build Manager, and Development Associate. Prior to this, David was a Development Intern at the YMCA of Greater Houston, where responsibilities included program outreach and event planning. David also contributed as Vice President and Community Outreach Officer for the Nonprofit Leadership Student Association at the University of Houston, facilitating outreach events and supporting organizational goals. David's earlier work experience includes serving as a Hydroexcavation Technician at Texas ReExcavation, LC, and as an Infantry Squad Leader in the US Army for over a decade, demonstrating strong leadership and operational skills. David holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Houston and an Associate of Arts from Houston Community College.
