Sean Whilden serves as the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Houston Healthcare. Sean joined Houston Healthcare in 2012 from DeKalb Regional Health System in Decatur, Georgia, where he served as the System Controller. Sean also served as the CFO for DeKalb Medical at Hillandale – part of DeKalb Regional Health System.
As CFO, Sean oversees all financial aspects of the organization. Sean holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Samford University in Birmingham. He is a Certified Public Accountant and has over 23 years of experience in healthcare accounting and finance.
