Kathryn Walters is an experienced RN Case Manager with a proven track record in hospice care, currently working at Houston Hospice since May 2017. Previously, Kathryn held similar roles at Alamo Hospice and Embracing Hospice, providing compassionate care and comprehensive assessments to end-of-life patients and their families while coordinating with interdisciplinary teams for medication and symptom management. Kathryn's nursing career began with roles in post-surgical patient care and intake coordination, demonstrating a consistent focus on skilled nursing and patient advocacy. Kathryn also has a background in customer service from retail positions, enhancing communication and client relations skills. Kathryn holds an Associate's degree in Registered Nursing from the Lone Star College System-Montgomery.

Houston Hospice is Greater Houston's oldest, largest, independent, nonprofit hospice. Founded in 1980, we are a leader in the hospice care industry and provide services to patients and families of all ages and ethnicities. Houston Hospice is a member of the Texas Medical Center, Texas Non-Profit Hospice Alliance and the Texas New Mexico Hospice Organization. Houston Hospice is accredited by the National Institute for Jewish Hospice and by Community Health Accreditation Program, Inc (CHAP). CHAP accreditation publicly certifies that an organization has voluntarily met the highest standards of excellence for home and/or community-based health care.
