Scotty Lea has extensive experience in inspection roles within the pipeline and coatings industry, currently serving as an HDD Inspector at Houston Inspection Field Services since February 2020. Prior experience includes positions as a Coating/Utility Inspector at Kestrel Engineering, Inc., and Assistant Chief Inspector on the Atlantic Coast Pipeline Spread. Scotty has held roles such as Chief Inspector on multiple Energy Transfer projects, demonstrating a strong ability to oversee project compliance with contract specifications, manage inspection staff, and ensure quality control and safety procedures. Education includes a corrosion certification from NACE International and a high school diploma from Lebanon High School.
